Ron L. Deal, LMFT, LPC - Speaker

Ron L. Deal is one of the most widely read and viewed experts on blended families in the country. He is Director of FamilyLife Blended® for FamilyLife®, founder of Smart Stepfamilies™, and the author and Consulting Editor of the Smart Stepfamily Series of books including the bestselling Building Love Together in Blended Families: The 5 Love Languages® and Becoming Stepfamily Smart with Dr. Gary Chapman and The Smart Stepfamily: 7 Steps to a Healthy Family. Ron is a licensed marriage and family therapist, popular conference speaker, and host of the FamilyLife Blended Podcast with Ron Deal.

He and his wife, Nan, have three sons and live in Little Rock, Arkansas.

 

Rob Hudson - Emcee

Rob is second generation FamilyLife staff. He never dreamed of one day ministering to families until a critical moment when the Lord showed him his first ministry was his family. Rob is now the Mobilization Team Leader for FamilyLife. He is passionate about meeting people in their felt needs, namely career, and relationships, and then being able to point them to their ultimate need, Jesus.

Rob and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Orlando, FL and have two children, Beckett and Selah.

Ray is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies and a Masters of Arts in Christian Education. He has planted two churches, New Hope Bible Church in Kansas City, MO where he served for 10 years. He currently serves as Lead Pastor of Christ for the Nations Church, a multi-Ethnic church in Nashville, TN. Ray experienced life in a blended family while growing up.

Robyn is involved in counseling, mentoring, and writing. She has written two books, SOS: Sick of Sex and Say It Loud: Becoming Your Husband's Personal Cheerleader. Robyn has spoken at Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth's True Woman and Revive Our Hearts conferences and has been a featured writer for MomLife Today. 

Ray and Robyn have been speakers for FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember conference for twenty-five years and facilitate men and women's retreats and church-based marriage and parenting conferences.

Ray and Robyn have been married for over three decades and are the proud parents of ten children, two sons-in-law, and three grandsons. The McKelvy's make their home in Franklin, TN.

 

David and Meg Robbins are passionate about integrating faith and family while equipping people to invest in their communities. David became the President of FamilyLife in 2017. The Robbins have served in a variety of ministry roles over the years in Western Europe and as a National Director for Cru’s Campus Field Ministry.

Before FamilyLife, the Robbins lived in Manhattan, where they helped launch an initiative with Cru to 20-somethings. Their desire is to leverage FamilyLife’s resources to engage new audiences and generations to come.

David and Meg, married in 2001, currently live in Orlando, Florida, with their four children.    

Laurie is a speaker, author, preacher, and stepmom. A graduate of Fuller Seminary, she has served on staff at four churches over the last thirty years and is currently serving on the teaching team at Oceanhills Covenant Church in Santa Barbara. She has spoken to more than 500,000 people at conferences, colleges, and churches around the country, and her popular teaching videos on RightNow Media have been viewed by over a quarter-million people all over the world.

Laurie is the author of Grace-Filled Stepparenting: Help and Hope for this unique and loving role (May 2021), 40 Verses to Ignite Your Faith: Surprising Insights on unexpected Passages, When Changing Nothing Changes Everything, and Finding Faith in the Dark, as well as fourteen books for youth and youth workers. 

She lives in Santa Barbara, CA with her husband Jere and stepson Jordan.
