Hi Blended and Blessed!
We have the opportunity to be a blessing, but it is only a short window
of opportunity. Kay from our class has a very close friend Joanna Braddock
Rosen who has some great connections. I spoke directly with Joanna Rosen who
has organized a local drive to gather up Tents to be delivered directly to Haiti. The
specific need is for 4 person tent size or larger, but they
must be fully packed and gathered up by noon this Saturday, Feb
6th.
These tents and some other supplies are being delivered to New Life
Children's Home located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This organization is
through World Harvest Missions out of Lake Worth, FL. This will be
the second and final drop off organized by Joanna, with 58 tents and
supplies already delivered two weeks ago.

Remember, it must be a 4 person or more size tent, new or gently used, and
delivered to Joanna Rosen or Jeff Mowry by Saturday noon.

Thanks for the call! As I said the pilot making the runs to Haiti has
requested 25 more 4-man plus tents for the clinic/hospital/orphanage we have
helped to create. He is headed down tomorrow morning and will visit the compound
run by the World Harvest Mission, New Life Children's Mission out of Lake Worth,
FL. I understand we should have photos by tomorrow evening.
The plane will come to Albert
Whitted Airport early Sunday for the pick up. If we do not reach our
goal, I will drive the tents down on Saturday afternoon in an attempt to save
jet fuel.
