Thank you to all who joined the celebration at Largo Central Park in Largo, FL for the 10th Annual National Stepfamily Day. This FREE event called "Celebrating Stepfamilies" was held from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday, September 16, 2006.

This was a day full of fun for the whole family! Many participated in the Family Obstacle Course and everyone won a loaded prize bag. The kids bounced off the walls in the four Moonwalk Inflatables set up around the park. Everyone had a challenge gettin up that Rock Climbing Wall... Wow what a fun time that was!

The kids loved the face painting booth and a special thank you to our Joto's Pizza and Rita's Italian Ices!

Many visited the Local Stepfamily Resource Booths to see what is available in our area. You could also stop by the Meet & Greet with Natalie Nichols Gillespie, author of "The Stepfamily Survival Guide". There you could pick up a copy of this excellent book or write out a question you may have on Stepfamily Issues. The Stepfamily Workshop later that evening was both encouraging and informative.
